Hi Everybody Another year gone and it was a very interesting one for me, with singing engagements in Cyprus, Singapore, Jakarta and a nice golfing holiday in Portugal. There are a few photographs below, taken during the visit to Singapore. Just click on the thumbnails to see the full-size versions. There were also some very successful engagements at home, not least were the three dinner concerts at The House For An Art Lover, which I enjoyed immensely. The most exciting thing for me last year was entering the Highland Quest competition for a Scottish Musical, which is being jointly run by The Eden Court Theatre, The Scottish Executive and Cameron MacIntosh Associates. There were 150 entrants and it is now down to 44. I will know in March if I have reached the last ten. It is my first attempt at writing a musical and I have written ten new songs, which will be used along with a few I have already written. I am pleased with some of the new ones and I'll keep you posted. The year ended with a Hogmanay Show at the Ben Lomond Restaurant in Tarbet, Loch Lomond - a most successful night, enjoyed by all.
