Hi Everybody

Well, 2016 has gone,...... and quickly. Most of us can't believe how quickly.

My year ended with our Hogmanay Ceilidh once again, in the Albert Hall, Stirling, and as usual it went with a song, a twirl, a skirl of the pipes and lots of fun, enjoyed by locals, people from all over Scotland, England and other parts of the world. Two other concerts, stood out for me last year. One was with Flamenco guitarist Ricardo Garcia, whom I met at the Edinburgh Fringe last year. Having his unique style of playing, along with both my own and traditional songs was really exciting and it got a tremendous response. We hope to repeat it again next year when Ricardo returns to Scotland.

The other was as guest singer at the annual concert of The Reading Scottish Pipe Band in Reading Concert Hall and as usual, their wonderful piping brought a lump to my throat. It was great seeing them all again. I look forward to repeats of both of these concerts this coming year.

January kicks off with the usual "Burns" nights., when we celebrate the songs and poetry of our national bard, Robert Burns. He wrote some of the most beautiful love songs ever written and I really enjoy singing them. My favourite being " Ae Fond Kiss".

I still attend my art class which I thoroughly enjoy and hope to put a few on the website along with my other items.

I continue to write new songs and hope to record again this year.

It only remains for me to wish you all good luck, good health and the realisation of all your hopes and aspirations in 2017.
